FAQs

Are online classes suitable for me?
My Mindful Matwork classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and for Pilates beginners.  However, they’re not suitable:
  • during pregnancy or less than 6 months post-partum
  • if you have an active injury, are recovering from surgery or are working with a special condition such as osteoporosis, joint replacement, disc injury, spinal condition, diastasis recti, heart condition.
Do I need any equipment?
For some classes you’ll need a Pilates Ball (22 to 26cm) and a medium strength Resistance Band (2 or 2.4 metres long).
You may also want to have the following ready for class:
  • an exercise or yoga mat
  • a hand towel or cushion (for wrist support and cushioning)
  • optional: light hand weights (550gms to 2kg)
